The Toledo Jeep plant will get $400 million of that Stellantis capital investment to produce a midsize pickup truck. An additional product at the Toledo plant now producing Jeep Wranglers and Gladiators will add 900 jobs to the current 4,300 Stellantis employees in Toledo.
Stellantis plans to make five new models and a new engine at plants in Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois, in addition to the Toledo investment. The largest investment in Stellantis history will add 5,000 direct jobs and 20,000 at supplier companies.
