A Bengaluru-based Zepto delivery agent recently revealed his weekly earnings on social media, and it has touched the hearts of many users. In a post on Reddit, the delivery agent shared that he earned ₹ 21,000 in a week.

The agent, who worked a 12-hour shift every day from 10 am to 10 pm, completed 387 orders, leading to gross weekly earnings of ₹ 21,000. After deducting fuel expenses, the agent's net take-home pay was approximately ₹ 18,906 in the week from September 29 to October 5. The gig worker revealed it was his 40th week on the job.

According to the Reddit post, the delivery agent's income increased as a result of what he referred to as ‘surge bonuses,’ which are extra compensation given at peak hours or during periods of light rainfall.
