ASVEL could follow ALBA Berlin’s path and leave the Euroleague to join the NBA project in Europe. Following information from BeBasket , the French team is reportedly considering leaving the Euroleague to join the BCL in the 2026/27 season.

A move that also financially helps a club that is not going through its best sporting moment in the Euroleague. ASVEL may not be the only team to take this path in the coming months, but the Lyon team could decide to leave once their Euroleague license is renewed.
