The New York Knicks waived center Alex Len, guard Garrison Mathews and forward Matt Ryan, the team announced Saturday.
Len is a 12-year NBA veteran who has spent time with the Phoenix Suns, Atlanta Hawks, Sacramento Kings, Toronto Raptors, Washington Wizards and Los Angeles Lakers. He has career averages of 6.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 0.9 blocks per game.
Last season, he appeared in 46 games for both the Kings and Lakers, making seven total starts.
Mathews is a six-year veteran, known for his shooting prowess. Last season, he averaged 7.5 points per game and shot 39 percent from deep for the Atlanta Hawks.
Ryan boasts a similar skill set to Mathews. He is a career 40.2 percent 3-point shooter. Ryan appeared in 19 games for the Knicks last season, averaging 1.5 points in a meager 3.6 m
