The fashion set descended on the British Museum in their droves on Saturday night, for the institution’s inaugural ball. Supermodel Naomi Campbell, as well as Adwoa Aboah, Adot Gak and Erin O’Connor MBE, were in attendance alongside designers such as Erdem Moralioglu, Roksanda Ilincic MBE and photographer Tim Walker.

The world of entertainment was also well represented, with Janet Jackson, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sir Mick Jagger and Maya Jama all arriving at the pink-themed ball, which drew inspiration from the colours and light of India, and coincided with the museum’s major exhibition, Ancient India: Living Traditions .

Also on the pink carpet: London Mayor Sir Sadiq Khan, Dame Tracey Emin, Sir Grayson Perry, and Lioness Chloe Kelly .
