Here are the top performers from Week 8 in Lubbock-area high school football.

A.J. Huddleston, Idalou

Huddleston ran 13 times for 147 yards and a TD, in addition to two catches for 97 yards and two TDs, in a win over Roosevelt.

Sammy Saenz, Littlefield

Saenz was 15 of 21 passing for 213 yards and four TDs in a win over Muleshoe. He also ran for 105 yards and two TDs on 19 carries. Saenz had eight tackles (one solo) on defense.

Coy Miller, Farwell

Miller ran for 230 yards and a TD on 19 carries in a win over Vega. He also recorded five tackles (three solo), including two for a loss and two sacks.

Jonas Rodriguez, New Deal

Rodriguez ran for 142 yards and two TDs on 22 carries in a win over
