Gov. Mike Braun's office said Friday afternoon that he hasn't made a decision on whether to call a special legislative session to redraw Indiana's congressional maps, even as direct pressure on lawmakers is ramping up from President Donald Trump himself.
Trump talked about redistricting on a Friday call with Republican lawmakers including Indiana Senate President Pro Tempore Rodric Bray, R-Martinsville, IndyStar confirmed with Bray's spokesperson, following a Frida y report from the New York Times about calls that were described as part of the White House's "escalating pressure campaign" on lawmakers.
