Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday laid the foundation stone for 471 new panchayat offices across Odisha and disbursed the first instalment of financial assistance to 48,693 beneficiaries under the Antyodaya Gruha Yojana.

The twin programmes were held at the Chief Minister’s Conference Hall in Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar through a virtual ceremony connecting officials and beneficiaries from multiple districts.

The Chief Minister formally inaugurated the construction of 471 new Gram Panchayat offices under a state-level infrastructure initiative aimed at improving administrative outreach and service delivery in rural areas.
