Anthony Stolarz didn’t throw any F-bombs late on Saturday night.

The Maple Leafs goaltender didn’t have to.

His anger couldn’t have been more obvious following the Leafs’ 4-3 overtime loss against the Seattle Kraken at Scotiabank Arena.

Too many times this Leafs team has not held itself to account, certainly not in the public forum. So, good on Stolarz for letting it out.

We don’t recall a time when a Leafs goalie was as upset as Stolarz was following a regular-season game. But after a match in which he was run by Kraken forward Mason Marchment and no teammates did anything about it, Stolarz unloaded.

It wasn’t just about that incident, which happened late in the second period and resulted in a goaltender interference penalty for Marchment. Stolarz took aim at a number of areas.
