Miami football is set to take a tumble in the US LBM Coaches Poll after being upset by Louisville on Friday, Oct. 17.
The No. 2 Hurricanes fell to the Cardinals 24-21 at home as Heisman Trophy hopeful Carson Beck threw four interceptions in the uncharacteristic performance.
Louisville, which is now 5-1 with a 2-1 mark in ACC play, made its mark as a conference contender this season with the impressive win. Senior receiver Chris Bell had a huge game, with 136 receiving yards and two touchdowns on nine catches.
Georgia Tech also held on for a 27-18 road win over Duke, moving to 7-0 and putting itself in prime position to reach the ACC championship game and, presumably, the College Football Playoff.
