Senior Payton Cook stepped in at quarterback, and junior Brayton Feister and senior Elbert Hill IV scored in multiple ways to lead host Archbishop Hoban (7-1) to a 46-21 win over the Central York (Pa.) at Dowed Field in a Week 9 game on Oct. 17 .
Cook, who is normally a wide receiver and defensive back, played QB with Nick Kinsey, Michael Mull and Israel "Major" Cribbs injured.
Cook threw a 36-yard touchdown pass to John Johnson in the third quarter, and finished 8-of-11 passing for 103 yards and no interceptions as Hoban clinched the No. 1 seed in Division II, Region 5 and a bye in the first round of the playoffs.
