MLA Sarari distributes ₹1.6 Crore compensation to 226 flood-affected farmers

Ferozepur, October 19, 2025: Fulfilling the commitment made by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, MLA Fauja Singh Sarari distributed compensation approval letters worth ₹1.6 crore to 226 flood-affected farmers. The distribution took place during events organised in Nau Bahiram Sher Singh Wala and Dona Mattar villages of Gurharsahai Block in Ferozepur district.

The beneficiaries included farmers from various villages impacted by floods. Tehsildar Birkarn Singh and Naib Tehsildar Gureep Singh, panchayat representatives and a large number of villagers were also present at the event.
