PennDOT maintenance crews will launch 13 road work projects across Lehigh County starting this week, with most work scheduled to run through Friday.
The projects span multiple municipalities and include bridge repairs, pothole patching, crack sealing, drainage work, and brush cutting. Most work will take place during daytime hours from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., though some projects on major highways are scheduled for nighttime hours between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.
The earliest work begins Sunday, with pothole patching on Interstate 78 East at Exit 49 in Upper Macungie Township. This project will restrict the eastbound lane during overnight hours and is expected to conclude on Monday.
