Police have issued an appeal for the public's help after a woman was left seriously injured in a hit-and-run smash.
Kirsty Pickering, 38, told the M.E.N. how she suffered two broken legs, a broken arm, cracked ribs and cuts to her face in the incident in Bredbury, Stockport , earlier this month.
The self-employed dog walker said she feared she may be unable to work or walk for at least 12 weeks.
Kirsty said she parked her van outside her parents' home when the incident happened. The van was hit by another car as Kirsty was getting out of it.
Now Greater Manchester Police has issued a description of the car, and urged anyone with information to come forward.
