Tommy Fleetwood continued his brilliant season with glory at the inaugural DP World India Championship.

Starting the final day two shots behind Saturday’s leader Keita Nakajima, Fleetwood shot a stunning seven-under 65 on the final day to claim victory.

After birdying the opening par 5, Fleetwood did drop a shot on the next hole as Nakajima, Daniel Hillier and Joost Luiten looked to put the pressure on.

But Europe’s Ryder Cup hero was faultless for the rest of the day, producing four birdies in a row from the seventh hole to the tenth to put himself in control.

He then navigated the tricky conditions at Delhi Golf Club well down the closing stretch to beat Nakajima by two shots.
