Residents have expressed their anger after being kept awake all night by loud music pumping from woodland in West Yorkshire.

Scores of people in and around the Holme Valley took to social media to complain about loud and deep drum bass music resounding out until at least 6am, YorkshireLive reports. Some locals said their children were in tears and unable to sleep from 1am onwards.

Infuriated residents even hopped into their cars to drive around the area trying to find out where the music was coming from.

One angry resident told YorkshireLive : "It's been going on since midnight. Apparently, it's coming from up in a wooded area near Home Moss. The police have been informed but can't do much without a precise location.
