Reading in the Reporter-Herald today about median home prices in Larimer County, it’s completely wild that you have homes for median prices in our fair city of Loveland almost near $550,000 and Fort Collins over $600,000 and then in Estes Park over $750,000. No wonder I and others cannot afford a house in this county in which we live and work. The housing is too damn high and to borrow a line from n infamous figure from New York City, the rent is too damn high. I’ll vote for candidates who can go ahead and give affordable housing units and affordable starter homes to folks if they can promise that on City Council.
