This is John Schneider’s fourth season managing in the big leagues and the year in which he has grown the most.
He has gone from nobody to somebody, from lightly regarded to manager-of-the-year candidate. He has gone from robotic and forgettable to convenient and comfortable, a manager with presence, attitude and a whole lot of fight.
