Major jolt to Congress in Tarn Taran as AAP’s Harmeet Sandhu gains key suppport from village leaders

Tarn Taran (Punjab), October 19, 2025: In a major setback for the Congress, AAP candidate and former Akali MLA Harmeet Singh Sandhu strengthened his position in Tarn Taran after Congress leader Gurbhej Singh joined the Aam Aadmi Party along with the entire panchayat team of Mallia Kalan village.

Sandhu, who recently came into the AAP fold, shared the development on his Facebook page, stating that the growing trust of people proves that “this time, history will be made in Tarn Taran.”
