Indiana football is considered better than almost everybody in college football, but it's not even the best team in its conference. The Hoosiers may get a chance to prove it is No. 1 before too long.

No. 3 IU defeated Michigan State 38-13 on Saturday, Oct. 19. Coupled with No. 2 Miami's loss on Friday night, IU is expected to inch up one spot in the national rankings.

Who is in the Hoosiers' way? Defending national champion Ohio State , also from the Big Ten. The Buckeyes beat Wisconsin 34-0 on Saturday, entrenching themselves as the national title favorite.

If both teams keep winning, they will meet in the Big Ten championship game on Dec. 6 in Lucas Oil Stadium .
