CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - One person is dead after a shooting early Sunday morning near a popular west Charlotte bar, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

It’s the fourth homicide Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating in less than 24 hours.

The first homicide happened around 2 a.m. Saturday, when a man was killed after a fight at a home in east Charlotte. Around 5 p.m. Saturday, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said they were investigating two deadly shootings on North Graham Street in north Charlotte and on Park Fairfax Drive in northwest Charlotte.
