PIB on Sunday fact checked a viral video being circulated on social media claiming that disposable containers are reused on a train. Debunking the viral claim, PIB called the video “misleading." The video showed a pantry staff cleaning the casserole containers in the pantry.

PIB issued a clarification and said the staff was cleaning the containers before disposal. “The containers served to passengers were not reused. They were only cleaned before disposal," PIB’s statement on X read.
