More rain and colder temperatures are on their way to Central Indiana.

Widespread rainfall with winds came through central Indiana overnight and into Sunday, Oct. 19, according to National Weather Service (NWS) Indianapolis , which had predicted a cold front would bring thunderstorms over the weekend.

The AES power outage map showed at least 1,200 people were without power in the city as of 9 a.m., and around 1.54 inches of rain were brought overnight, according to NWS Indianapolis meteorologist Chad Swain. More rain is expected throughout the day.
