FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (WSMV) - The United States Army is reporting that a sergeant from Fort Campbell died during a “training accident” while deployed in Hohenfels, Germany, on Saturday.

In a release sent on Sunday, the Army confirmed that 34-year-old Sgt. Terell Seales, a Motor Transport Operator (88M) assigned to the 2nd Mobile Brigade Combat Team “Strike”, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), was injured during a “vehicle accident” during training at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center.

Seales’ injuries were too severe to recover from, according to the report.
