A man hit three policemen with his vehicle during Deepawali checking at Araghar T-junction in Dehradun at about 3:45 AM on Sunday. The policemen, head constable Suganpal, constable Sachin and constable Kamla Prasad, were on picket and vehicle-checking duty when the incident occurred.

The vehicle rammed into them when they signalled the driver to stop for checking, as per the officials. They informed that the injured policemen were taken to a nearby hospital for primary treatment and were later referred to Synergy Hospital for advanced care. All the three are undergoing treatment, they said.
