DU QUOIN, Ill. (WSIL) -- The storms on Saturday night and Sunday morning packed quite a punch across southeast Missouri and southern Illinois.
The National Weather Service said there were multiple spots with damage to trees, utility poles and even a tree limb landing on a vehicle.
In Perry County, Illinois, they saw a lot of this damage, including in Du Quoin.
People were seen working on cleaning up after trees fell on people's property.
There were still hundreds out of power by the early afternoon hours in Perry and Williamson Counties due to the storms.
