NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Vanderbilt is ranked in the top 10 of the Associated Press Top 25 Poll for the first time since week two of the 1947 season following Saturday’s game.

Vanderbilt defeated LSU 31-24 at FirstBank Stadium Saturday. This is the first time in 35 years the ‘Dores have beaten the Tigers.

Following the historic win, Vandy improved to 6-1 and jumped seven spots in the AP poll, moving from No. 17 to the No. 10 spot.
