Justin Fields time as the starting quarterback for the New York Jets may have come to an abrupt end Sunday.
Justin Fields benched in Week 7
After he led the Jets to just three points in the first half of New York's Week 7 game against the Carolina Panthers , Fields found himself watching the second half from the sideline.
Fields was benched in favor of veteran quarterback Tyrod Taylor in the second half. Fields completed just six-of-12 pass attempts for 46 yards and added 22 rushing yards on four carries.
It was clearly a message from head coach Aaron Glenn that Fields is not performing at the level that he believes he should be to help his team win.
