Maccabi Tel Aviv have seen their derby match against Hapoel Tel Aviv cancelled amid their Aston Villa ban. ‌

The Tel Aviv derby between Maccabi and Hapoel was scheduled to be played on Sunday night at Bloomfield Stadium, but it was postponed after police concerns. ‌

Before kick-off, police deemed conditions at the stadium unsafe to continue after extensive use of pyrotechnics from fans which led to police officers and supporters sustaining injuries. ‌
