It’s just five games into the regular season, but Logan Stanley is bursting with confidence.
Stanley set a career high in goals scored in the team’s 4-1 victory over the Nashville Predators on Saturday evening.
“You’ve got to have confidence to play in this league,” Stanley said. “If something doesn’t go right, you’re trying to forget about it quickly, and go back out and make a good play. Confidence is a huge part (as I) try and build on it.”
Stanley was just one assist short of a Gordie Howe hat-trick as he fought Predators big boy Mike McCarron at 8:28 of the second period. Combined, the scrap involved more than 13 feet of humanity busting chops in the neutral zone.
