The 12th edition of the Wordstock Sudbury Literary Festival is just days away, with events commencing Friday evening.

“This year we’re volunteer-powered, and with our community of supporters, we have built a festival program that brings back the ‘best of the fest’ and introduces new sessions inspired by that community spirit,” organizers said in a release. “We have author panels, workshops for writers, an open mic to kick off the fun, and a late-night poetry slam. We’re also adding a silent reading event (coffee and reading, yes please) and a local author showcase to whet literary appetites of readers (no TBR pile is too big).”
