It looks like the feud rumors between Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez aren’t going anywhere. Last week, the Rhode founder was interviewed for The Wall Street Journal ’s cover story about her brand’s $1 billion acquisition and entrance into Sephora , and apparently, fans seem to think she was taking a dig at Gomez. Is it just me, or do you also have déjà vu ?

During the interview, Bieber was asked if she felt worried about being compared to Gomez’s Rare Beauty. Although she declined to respond, she later appeared to allude to the question. “It’s always annoying being pitted against other people. I didn’t ask for that,” she said. “When people want to see you a certain way and they’ve made up a story about you in their minds, it’s not up to you to change that.”
