VISALIA, Calif. (KFSN) -- A 16-year-old boy has been arrested after fleeing police and crashing their vehicle in Visalia.
Visalia police were called just before 11:30 p.m. Saturday to clear out a large party on West Howard Street near Tulare Avenue.
Officers say when they arrived, a lifted Chevrolet pickup started to drive recklessly near a crowd.
When police tried to stop the car, the teen drove away.
The pursuit continued until the pickup reached the intersection of Cameron Avenue and Mooney Boulevard, when it crashed into another vehicle.
The teen attempted to run away on foot but was quickly caught.
No serious injuries were reported in the crash.
The teen has been booked into the Tulare County Juvenile Detention Facility on several charges, including felony evading an officer w
