The Atlanta Falcons are riding high on a two-game winning streak after humbling the Buffalo Bills last Monday night. But it'll be a challenging task to continue that momentum against a shorthanded but still well-coached San Francisco 49ers team on Sunday night.

Fortunately, it sounds like the Falcons will get some much-needed reinforcements to help quarterback Michael Penix Jr. and running back Bijan Robinson.

After missing the last few weeks with a hamstring injury, speedster receiver Darnell Mooney will likely return to the Atlanta lineup against San Francisco. Mooney is one of the Falcons' only true stretch-the-field options, making his presence especially important to making them a complete and diverse offense. So, this is great news for Atlanta:

Mooney's possible return will give the Falcons a skill position group featuring Robinson, Drake London, Kyle Pitts, and himself. On paper, that's a group that should score a lot of points. We'll see whether that comes to fruition.
