Seven games into the Aaron Glenn tenure with the New York Jets and the former Detroit Lions defensive coordinator is still winless.

The Jets played host to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday and fell 13-6 in what was another dismal offensive performance.

The biggest change for the now 0-7 Jets was that Glenn finally benched starting quarterback Justin Fields as his play continued to falter.

The former Ohio State quarterback began the game 6-of-12 for 46 yards while the offense could only muster a field goal in the first half. Given the Jets haven’t scored a first-half touchdown since Week 1, a change has desperately been needed.

Glenn finally made the decision for the Jets’ first possession of the second half, sending out veteran Tyrod Taylor at quarterback instead of Fields.
