TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Saturday marked the third annual Rally for Refuge donation drive for the Big Bend’s domestic violence shelter, Refuge House.
Hundreds of essential items were collected to help women and families who often come to the shelter with nothing but the clothes on their backs, according to the organization.

Refuge House is currently raising money to build a larger shelter that can house more families, including children with sensory disorders.
The Rally for Refuge drive helps stock the shelter with items like towels, blankets, wash cloths, sheets, hygiene products, and toys for children.
