Human remains found behind a middle school are believed to be a missing Philadelphia beauty queen.

Kada Scott, 23, was last seen on 4 October leaving her job at an assisted living facility in Chestnut Hill at around 9.30pm.

She seemingly vanished as her car was left at work and her phone went offline.

Now, two weeks after her disappearance, police believe the body found in a shallow grave is the missing Penn State graduate.

Philadelphia Police Department FDC John Stanford called the discovery ‘a sombre and grateful moment’ as he praised the public for providing relevant information to them.

On Friday evening, the police received a ‘very specific’ tip that led them to a heavily wooded area where human remains were found.
