The Portland Trail Blazers will reportedly sign recently-waived guard Javonte Cooke to a two-way contract, according to Sean Highkin of the Rose Garden Report. Cooke was waived two days ago, and there was speculation that rejoining the team on a two-way contract would be in the cards.

The Blazers’ roster would now be full at 18 players, which includes three two-way players: Cooke, Sidy Cissoko, and Caleb Love (the latter two were written about by our own Adrian Bernecich yesterday). While not likely to play big minutes with the Blazers this year, guard depth early in the season is all the more important given Scoot Henderson’s hamstring injury that will keep him out at least a few months.
