MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Colton Honeycutt ( 17) of Union Parish is believed to have been struck just before sunset as storms were moving through the area.

Honecutt was inside an elevated deer stand at the time as reported by the Union Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Honeycutt was pronounced dead by the Union Parish Coroner’s Office.

No further information is available at this time as this is an ongoing investigation.
