The community hopped over to Greengarden Lanes bowling alley to raise money for a special cause.

The Erie Area Rabbit Society and Rescue (EARS) hosted a bowling event to help support their bunnies.

The EARS organization takes pride in caring for the third most surrendered pet in the United States, bunny rabbits.

Their board members told us that they are nearly at capacity, and that the proceeds from today's event will help them cover food costs and vet care for the bunnies.

EARS has nearly 70 rabbits in their care, all whom have either been surrendered or rescued from abandonment.

The fundraiser offered fun beyond bowling and featured a variety of bunny-themed goodies.
