West Ferris and Algonquin split their two regular season meetings

The Trojans routed the Saint Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears in the semifinal 49-12 Saturday night at Mike O’Shea Field. Article content Article content

To be fair to the Bears they were playing their 3rd game in eight days and fatigue had to be a factor.

The Trojans jumped out to a 14-0 first quarter lead with West Ferris Quarterback Nicolas Corbeil scoring twice and adding converts on both touchdowns.

Brady Kingston scored for the Bears in the second quarter but West Ferris scored five more touchdowns to lead 49-6 at the half.
