CLEVELAND — On the eve of the Browns' 31-6 win over the Miami Dolphins on Oct. 19, veteran safety Rayshawn Jenkins gave a speech as he filled the role of game captain for Week 7 .

"It kind of just came from the heart," Jenkins said. "I talked about just winning every play individually. So, looking at the lifespan of every play, and it's really only two things that can happen is a win or loss.

"I really just encouraged our guys to check that win column more than that L column was checked, and I told them if we did that, we'll find ourselves in a pretty good spot, and everybody played some really good complementary football. They played together."
