Boston is in for more rain in the first half of the week, with sunny, cool weather setting in headed towards next weekend, according to National Weather Service forecasts.
“It’s a fairly busy period weather wise, but nothing that’s necessarily overly active or necessarily hazardous,” said NWS lead meteorologist Andrew Loconto. “We’re going to have a couple of really strong cold frontal passages. One takes place (Monday), and then another one on Wednesday. That one on Wednesday is going to usher in a cooler and more unsettled air mass as we move into the latter part of the work week into the early part of next weekend.”
Monday is expected to kick off the week with a bout of rain as the cold front moves in around THE morning commute, Loconto said. Boston may see a thunderstorm before noon
