LOUDONVILLE — An exhibition between the Siena and Division III Union men’s basketball teams at UHY Center on Sunday represented two teams with genuine reason for optimism this season.

Part of the Saints’ side of that is grounded in potential contribution from their incoming freshmen. The Garnet Chargers, meanwhile, can lean on continuity and experience, since they return their entire roster off a 16-11 2024-25 season that ended with a loss to RPI in the Liberty League Tournament semifinals.
