GLENDALE, ARIZ-- Arizona's ineptitude in one-score games continued as Green Bay came back to win against the Cardinals 27-23 on Sunday afternoon.
Green Bay's defense didn't get off to the best start, as quarterback Jacoby Brissett filling in for the injured Kyler Murray helped Arizona build a 13-6 heading into halftime. Green Bay helped shift the momentum with a 61-yard field goal by Lucas Havrisik. Havrisik who is playing in place of the injured Brandon McManus was signed a mere eight days ago. He last kicked for Arlington Renegades of the United Football League.
The Packers wouldn't be down for long, as edge rusher Rashan Gary stripped Brissett in the early stages of the third quarter and it was recovered by safety Evan Williams.
