LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A search is underway for a missing kayaker on Mountain Island Lake.

Huntersville Fire Department's Fire Boat is assisting the East Lincoln Fire Department and the Denver Fire Department with the search near the Highway 73 bridge.

Details are limited at this time. Crews have been on scene since around 7 p.m.
