LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville Cardinals enter the AP top 25 poll at No. 19 after an upset win over then No. 2 Miami.

The unranked Cardinals travelled to Hard Rock stadium in Miami, FL to battle the Miami Hurricanes and Heisman hopeful, Carson Beck. The first quarter opened up with two Louisville scores, a one yard rush by QB Miller Moss, and a 35-yard passing touchdown to Chris Bell.

Miami attempted to claw back, but Louisville kept the pressure on the Hurricanes, intercepting Beck four times, including a crucial pick in the final minutes, to force a 24-21 upset.

Louisville is now sitting at a 5-1 record midway through the regular season, boasting a 2-1 record against ACC opponents, the sole loss coming to No. 18 Virginia.
