Knowledge is the only thing that increases every time you invest in it,” said Col Roopak Kumar Thakur, Commanding Officer of 9 Rajputs, while addressing readers at the Bamboosa Library here during a prize distribution ceremony organized by the Bamboosa Library and the Forum of Library Activists, Medo, on Saturday.

Emphasizing the value of discipline in life, Col Thakur urged everyone to make reading a daily habit — one so consistent that “it becomes a part of your muscle memory.” He called reading the best investment a child can make, one that enriches not just knowledge but character.
