Despite coming off a 23-21 victory over Mississippi State on Saturday, the win wasn't enough for Billy Napier to keep his post as head coach of the Florida Gators. Napier was fired on Sunday in the midst of a 3-4 season with the Gators and an overall mark of 22-23 throughout his four years in Gainesville, Fla. His .489 winning percentage is the fourth-worst in Florida Gators football history, and it's the worst winning percentage of any Florida football coach since 1950. Receivers coach Billy Gonzales was named interim by athletic director, Scott Stricklin, for the Gators' remaining five games.
