BOSSIER CITY, La. - The uncertainty about a home not even built in Bossier Parish yet isn’t what will go inside but what will be hidden underneath the driveway.

The Bossier Parish Police Jury last week approved a plan allowing a driveway in Rosedale Place, on Lot 375 in Unit 17, to be built directly on top of a parish drainage line.

"When they laid out the lots. They messed up. This is in a cul-da-sac," said parish engineer Matt Redmon.

The future address is expected to be 1367 Quincy Drive, and although it sounds harmless, Bossier police jurors admit it might not be and could cause problems years from now.

The builder, KCG Real Estate LLC, got the green light only after signing a contract called a “hold harmless agreement.”
